AdministrationIn accordance with Mongolia’s democratic constitution, the State Great Hural (Parliament) holds the nation's greatest power as the legislative body, while the President, as Head of the State, along with the Prime Minister and the cabinet members (the heads of Mongolia's ministries) serve as the executive body. Administratively, Mongolia is divided into 21 aimags (provinces), in addition to the capital city district of Ulaanbaatar. These provinces are further divided into 348 soums, while the districts in the big city are split into microdistricts of between 50 and 350 families.
